Briana Morales
Hello!
My name is Briana Morales, Theatre Director with JISD's Kitty Hawk Middle School!
As an educator in theatre, I am appointed with the presentation and student application of the performing arts for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Being an educator in this field of concentration, I take inspiration from all environments and life experiences, pop culture, and theatre history. The most effective and long-lasting inspiration I receive comes from my students and their strengths and affinities for the stage. *CUE APPLAUSE*
I am a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University with a BA in Communication Disorders/Psychology Minor. I am concurrently completing my first year as a formal educator while also in a leveling certification program for Theatre Arts Education from early childhood to 12th grade levels.
I come from life and work experiences in business management and administration, special education services, speech therapy administration, and formal academic tutoring. My love of theatre comes from my childhood awe of performance, with having been a part of past community productions like Grease, Rent, Chicago, Alice in Wonderland, and The Sound of Music. I look to pass along all my knowledge and passions of the fine and performing arts to my students.
