Welcome 6th grade Kitty Hawk Flyers!  I am excited and overjoyed to be your Social Studies teacher this year.  I look forward to teaching you about the world around us.  You will not only learn about the location of different places nearby, but of locations across the oceans and all around our world.  You will learn about people and culture much different than our own and how important this information is to help us understand those differences and to embrace diversity.

I was born and raised in San Antonio.  I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor degree of Education.  This is my sixteenth year in Education and my seventh year at Kitty Hawk Middle School.  I consider teaching a vocation in life.  It gives me the opportunity to help shape the young minds of our future generations that will one day encompass our communities locally and abroad.

I am a parent of three children in the 野花社区视频 Independent School District.  I have two sons attending college and a daughter that attends 野花社区视频 High School.  My goal is to nurture a safe and positive learning experience for your child, to be successful in our class, and to gain the knowledge they need to move forward in all educational endeavors in a global world.
