Ms. Melonie Morrow
Hello! My name is Melonie Morrow and I am the Art 1 Teacher here at Kitty Hawk Middle School. I am overjoyed to teach art here at Kitty Hawk. This is my 15th year of teaching art. We will be exploring all areas of art history, self-expression, and learning a variety of art techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpture, murals, recycled art, and more. I look forward to working with you. I believe everyone can be an artist!
I am originally from Detroit, Michigan. My Bachelors degree in Arts/Fashion Design is from Morris Brown College and Clark Atlanta University. My Masters degree is in Art Education from Texas State University. I have 2 wonderful kids, one 14-year-old daughter and one 6-year-old son. It is a blessing to be working at Kittyhawk MS, and I hope and pray that everyone has a joyous, safe, and successful school year!
