I have been in education since 1978, when I graduated from UTSA and immediately stepped into a 1st grade classroom built in 1923. I fell in love with my students, their parents and my school. I have been in education ever since, serving in many capacities. I have taught all levels throughout the years and have written grants and programs to develop life-long learning and parent engagement opportunities. I am thrilled to be teaching middle school students again as I spent 17 years teaching 6,7,and 8th grade students reading. These are my roots and I am proud of them and very happy to be of service to Kitty Hawk Middle School students and their families.
