I am proud to be a Kitty Hawk Middle School Flyer 6th/7th Grade English Special Education Co-Teacher!!  I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. In 2001, I received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UT at San Antonio, and in 2015, I earned my Masters in Social Work from Texas State University. I am a certified Special Education teacher and this will be my 7th year in education. 

I have a true passion for working with our young learners!!  Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and disabled—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive and fun environment.

Personally, I am the mom of an eight-year-old Lhasa Apso “fur baby”, Jordan, who loves to be cuddled, and the aunt to two beautiful nieces who are 13 and 16 years old. I love to spend my “self-care” time at the movies, traveling, or relaxing on my patio. I also enjoy music, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
