Hello everyone! I'm glad to be back at JISD, teaching 7th grade science and 8th grade biology. I taught at Kirby Middle School for 2 years and long-term substituted at Kitty Hawk Middle School for 4 years. I really love the Kitty Hawk students, staff, and community, so now I'm here!

I have lived in San Antonio for 20 years and was fortunate enough to stay home to raise my kids. But now that they're grown, I'm back! I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's of Science in Health and a minor in Biology. I later earned my teaching certificate in health, biology, and secondary science from 6th–12th grade. I believe education is my calling, and I hope to make a difference.

I'm thrilled to be teaching. I can't wait for exciting experiments, fun labs, and lasting memories!
