We have officially kicked off our JISD Special Olympics sports with Flag Football practice! In an effort to purchase the team's jerseys, help with travel and participation fees while gaining support from our athletes' families, friends and JISD, we have opened up an online Thunder-Rockets Spirit Store. This store is open through Friday, October 15th.
Students begin competitive play on October 23rd and run through December. Basketball will pick up next from January to March, followed by Track & Field and Soccer from February through May.
One of the programs that we are so proud of is our Special Olympics Thunder-Rockets Flag Football team, which is 5-time State Champions. This year we will be on a quest to be 6-time Champions!
