     Ms.Joan Alexander is proud to be one of the Directors of the Thunderbird Theatre Company! 野花社区视频 ISD holds a special place in her heart because Metzger Middle School is where she found her love for Theatre. Ms. Alexander graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Theatre for Acting and Directing. Ms.Alexander not only comes from a theatrical background but also has experience in stage combat, dance, musical theatre, set design and scenic painting! Some of Ms Alexander's directing credits include but are not limited to, Romeo and Juliet, Gruesome Playground Injuries, and Guys and Dolls. As well as assistant directing credits on The Tin Woman and Detroit '67. Some Acting Credits include The Wolves, Jump, Dust, and Campus Mysteries.

     Ms Alexander believes that fine arts are fundamental to the development of students not only at an academic level but also as individuals! Theatre teaches us confidence in public speaking, cooperation, problem-solving and leadership! Ms.Alexander hopes that all of her students leave her classroom with a new sense of confidence in their artistic and academic abilities!
