Hello! I'm Mr. Phillips. I teach Geometry Honors and College Prep Math.

I'm originally from the Houston area and moved to central Texas for college and work.  I have a Bachelor's in Life Science, and I'm currently working on my Master's in Mathematics Education (Secondary) from Western Governors University.  I am married and have a toddler at home, but still make my students a priority.

Before becoming a teacher, I was a manager in retail, then a trainer at TruGreen to spray chemicals against insects and weeds.  That experience has influenced my teaching style into preparing students to becoming adults by increasing their responsibilities in the classroom.  Note-taking and meeting deadlines is very important to me, which means leniency towards those subjects is very low.  If you ever want to know how your student is doing in my class, feel free to email me.  I will respond within 24 hours.
