Megan Smith

I graduated from 野花社区视频 in 1998. From there, I went on to study at Texas State University in San Marcos, where I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology. I spent the next 5 years working to help conserve the Kemp's Ridely Seat Turtle on both South Padre Island and North Padre Island. In 2009, I applied to and was accepted into the graduate program at Texas State University. Following my graduation, I pursued a career in the Biotech field working on understanding the incredible aging of the naked mole-rat.

This past year I decided that I would like to put my love and understanding of science and the science profession to good use by teaching a new generation of scientists. I am excited to create that same passion and love for science in my students that my high school biology teacher created for me.
