I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know each and everyone of you this school year at Wagner High School!

My School Background:

I graduated from a very small school in Saratoga, Texas called West Hardin High School. There were only 38 people in my graduating class! I continued my education at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with a BA in English and Interdisciplinary Studies. My first job was teaching 8th grade and coaching at John P. Odom Academy, and I taught there for 14 years.  I then moved to West Brook High School and taught 9th grade for 2 years and coached freshman basketball. I am now in my second year here at Wagner teaching English and coaching freshman basketball! #DubNation

I am Mom to my beautiful 19-year-old daughter, Shelby, who is going to school to be a pediatric nurse. 

I am so excited about this school year and what it entails for our Wagner Family;  I am expecting greatness! #BringtheThunder

 My tutoring times are Tuesday/Thursday from 8 am -8:20 am.
