Ms. Michelle Garcia

Hello, I'm Michelle Garcia, an experienced healthcare professional with a passion for making a difference in people's lives. I have over 25 years of combined medical experience in various areas, including 4 years as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a clinical setting and, most recently, as a school nurse in a public high school setting. Before that, I spent 8 years working in the private sector of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and, before that, as a home health care provider, medical billing and collections, medical coding.

I began my career as an EMT-Basic and progressed to EMT-Paramedic where I held both national and Texas certifications. I gained experience in the fast-paced environment of EMS in the private sector, where I learned to handle emergencies and provide critical care to those in need, in addition to gaining experience in the hospital setting working as an emergency room technician. This invaluable experience shaped my skills and instilled in me a sense of responsibility and compassion. I had a strong desire to further my education in the field of nursing. I worked for a reputable nationwide managed care family practice clinic before transitioning into the role of a school nurse, which has been incredibly fulfilling for me.

I obtained my LVN education at the esteemed Baptist School of Health Professions in San Antonio, Texas, where I graduated with Honors from the program. Currently, I have graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science degree in University Studies, with a focus on nursing and social work courses.

Throughout my education, I have developed a deep appreciation for learning and a strong desire to contribute to the field of education. I have a genuine passion for working with children and being a positive role model in their lives. My goal is to make a lasting impact on their well-being and help them thrive in their educational journey. I feel truly blessed to be accepted as part of the team here at 野花社区视频 High School, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. Collaborating with the dedicated staff, I look forward to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for students to learn and grow. It is with my medical background, dedication to education, and genuine care for the well-being of others, that I am confident in my ability to excel as an educator. I am excited about this new beginning in my career and the chance to make a difference in the lives of those I have the privilege of having in my classroom.
