I'm excited for this new school year and I can't wait to get started. I am originally from Iowa. I moved to Texas to complete my student teaching. I've been a high school teacher in the San Antonio area since 2004. My husband and I have four very energetic boys who are also students in 野花社区视频 ISD.
Math has been a calling. I didn't always feel that way. When I was in school, I loved studying languages. I liked how there was more than one way to say things and searching out meanings was a challenge. I've come to view math in the same way. I love finding the symmetry and the balance in and equation. It is great to discover more than one method to discover the solution. It makes me happy that I get to share the language of math with all of my students.
