Mrs. Laura Braun
Laura Braun is the Director of Bands at 野花社区视频 High School and a native of Plano, TX, and is in her thirteenth year of teaching. She is married to her husband, Patrick Braun, and they have 3 dogs; Waylon, Adaline, and Frank. Prior to teaching at 野花社区视频 High School, Mrs. Braun was the Head Middle School Director at Rhodes Middle School in San Antonio and most recently at Live Oak Ridge Middle School in Killeen. She also served as the assistant band director at Medina Valley Middle/High School in Castroville and William J. Brennan High School in San Antonio. In addition to her teaching experience as a band director, Mrs. Braun taught as a visual and brass tech at the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps in Dubuque, IA for five years.
Laura Braun is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s in music education and a graduate of Boston University with a master’s in music education. While in college at Texas Tech University, Mrs. Braun was a member of the Goin’ Band From Raiderland, trumpet studio, and wind ensemble. She also marched with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps in 2001 and Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps in 2002, 2003, and 2004.
