Hello there and welcome to fifth grade ELAR and Social Studies!! I am so excited about starting the year at the best school ever!

A little about myself. I was born and raised in Ankeny, Iowa and moved to Texas when I was about 14. I graduated at Champion High School in Boerne and later received my Bachelors in Science degree at Full Sail University. I started my career in education 2 years ago here at Wortham Oaks and fell in love with the staff, kids, and our community. When I'm not at school, I spend my time with my family and friends! I am also one of the biggest nerds on our campus! Anything from comic books to anime is my jam.

I am proud and honored to be part of the fifth grade team. I promise to strive every day to make sure that my students are safe, comfortable, and confident inside and outside of our lessons. My goal is that by the end of the year, all of my students will know that they can be heroes too.
