Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! It’s a great new year and I can’t wait to meet you as a family and work with your student.

I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. After graduation, I moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico where I received my bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education from New Mexico State University....GO AGGIES! This year begins my 19th year of teaching! My first year of teaching brought me back to my hometown to teach high school Inclusion, Co-Teach and Resource in grades 9-12 at Coronado High School. I taught English, Pre-Algebra, Life Science and Texas History. I returned to my Aggie home state of New Mexico to teach for 11 years. I taught 8 years in a Life Skills classroom at Onate High school and later moved to Centennial High School to continue teaching Life Skills for 3 more years. This is the beginning of my 8th year working in 野花社区视频 ISD. I previously worked at Rolling Meadows Elementary as the Autism Programming for Positive Learning Experiences (APPLE) program teacher for 2 1/2 years. This will be my 5th year working at Wortham Oaks Elementary.

I strive to work hard and give the best to every single child in my classroom every single day. Your child will understand expectations and become familiar with routines that will assist them in becoming productive members of our school community. I look forward to getting to know you and your child and will work hard for them to become the best possible person they can be at Wortham Oaks Elementary.
