Welcome to the most amazing Math & Science classroom you will ever enter!!! At least in elementary ;-) This year we will research, discover, create and investigate the many worlds of Science and find ways that it collides with Math.

Some info about your soon-to-be favorite teacher, Ms. Marquez.  I am from Dallas and I am a Dallas Mavericks Fan For LIFE!!  I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice and earned my Masters in Education from the University of Texas at El Paso.  This will be my 10th year in education and my fourth at Wortham Oaks Elementary.  I am an extremely proud Navy Veteran and have traveled the world.

My little family is made up of my husband, an athletic trainer at Madison High School and my 3 amazing kiddoes, Keanu (28 yrs old), Katelynn (24 yrs old) and my sidekick, Ezra (12 years old). We have 3 dogs, Maverick, a chocolate lab, Pebbles, a Yorkie and Cooper, a beagle corgi mix.

An interesting thing about me: I was both a police officer in the Navy and served briefly in a local police department before finding my true calling as a teacher. I love to shop all things AMAZON, workout, love to read, paint and love going to the movies!
