I am super excited about beginning a brand new year at Wortham Oaks!

After graduating from Samuel Clemens High School, I attended UTSA where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.  I spent the next 8 years working at both a children's shelter as a case worker and at the Bexar County District Attorney's Office as a Victim Advocate.  It was through this experience that I discovered my true calling and began pursuing my graduate degree.  I earned my Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction.   I began my teaching career at San Antonio ISD in 2004.  During my tenure there, I taught Pre-K, 1st and 2nd grades.  I joined 野花社区视频 ISD in 2016, where I taught 1st grade at Masters Elementary.  Finally, I had the opportunity to join the Wildcat family when we opened in the 2018/2019 school year.  I am currently an RTI teacher, where I provide interventions in reading and math.
