About Me

I am so excited about the upcoming school year. I am positive it will be a fun year filled with innovation and creation.  My classroom is run as a hands-on, student-led learning environment with guidance and support from me.  My classroom focus is on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics within all subject areas.  Students will create advanced products that will be on display at the end of the school year at the Gifted and Talented Campus Showcase. 

This is my seventh year as a teacher at Woodlake Elementary School, but my ninth year teaching overall.  I  received my Associate degree in Applied Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and I received my teaching certification through Texas Teachers.   I completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at Angelo State University in December 2023.

Please know I will do my best to teach your child. I will have a structured classroom with high expectations for all students. I am a big proponent of parent communication.  I highly encourage you to join my Remind page.  I look forward to a wonderful year with your student and preparing him/her for the next grade level.
