Hi my name is Martha E. Sanchez and I have been teaching for 24 years. 

Background:  Prior to teaching, I was a Clinical Social Worker for 17 years.  I have always loved school and the educational setting and decided to return to school after my first child and enrolled at Our Lady of the Lake Univ. where I obtained a Master's in Education and a minor in Bilingual education.  After working in the dual language program at East Central ISD and Sain Antonio ISD, I won a HEB grant to further my education at Texas A&M San Antonio and earned a Reading Specialist Certification.  

I then applied at 野花社区视频 ISD as a Dyslexia Therapist in training and was employed in 2013.  I completed my Dyslexia Therapist training in 2015 and am now a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), and a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist in the state of Texas.  I left 野花社区视频 ISD in 2020 but returned in 2021.  I am so happy to be back and doing what I love best; teaching students with dyslexia how to decode and improve their reading!

I am happily married with three grown children, a daschund and a cat!
