¡Hola! Mi nombre es Doris Rico-Cerda y soy la maestra de segundo grado aquí en la Escuela Hartman. Obtuve mi Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Arts en Wayland Baptist University con una especialización en Early Childhood y certificación en educación bilingüe. Puedo impartir clases a estudiantes de EC-12 bilingües.
Mi pasatiempo favorito es estar con mi familia y jugar con mis tres nietos. Me encanta leer y mis autoras favoritas son Isabel Allende y Patricia Polacco. ¡Creo que he leído todos sus libros! También disfruto viajar y conocer lugares históricos interesantes.
Estoy segura que tendremos un año escolar exitoso lleno de diversión y conocimiento.

Hello! My name is Doris Rico-Cerda and I am the 4th grade Reading and Social Studies teacher. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Arts from Wayland Baptist University with a Specialization in Early Childhood and a certification to teach from EC-12 Bilingual.
My favorite hobby is spending time with my family and playing with my two grandbabies. I love to read, and my favorite authors are Isabel Allende and Patricia Polacco. I think I have read all their books! I also enjoy traveling and visiting interesting historic places.
I am sure that we will have a successful school year full of fun and knowledge.
