Thank you for visiting my website! Here's a little about me...

This will be my 18th year in education, and my 17th year with 野花社区视频. While at 野花社区视频, I taught 5th grade for 11 years, 3rd grade for 2 years, and 2nd grade for 2 years. This is my 2nd year teaching 4th grade. I have taught all the subjects. 

I am a proud "Knight" and this will be my 14th-year teaching at Mary Lou Hartman Elementary - Home of the Knights!

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University in San Marcos. I am also an alumnus of San Antonio College and the University of Texas at San Antonio. I graduated from Sam Houston High School, where I was also on the swim team for 3 years. I grew up on the east side of San Antonio where I attended Riley MS (Now Martin Luther King Jr. Academy), and W. W. White Elementary School.

This is not my first career, but it is the most fulfilling one! Before teaching, I was blessed with some interesting jobs that taught me some important lessons about life and enabled me to travel to 48 states, but most importantly, they put me on the path to being exactly where I belong.

This school year, my class is self-contained, which means I teach all the core subjects.
