Welcome Lion family! My name is Jasmyne McDonald and I am the 3rd grade self-contained teacher this year! I have taught 3rd grade in Norfolk Virginia, and 5th grade here at Escondido. I obtained my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Pre-Professional Biology from the Norfolk State University, and I am in pursuit of obtaining my teaching license with Texas Teachers of Tomorrow. 

I am a military spouse, and I have two little cubs of my own! I love all things artsy, such as painting, drawing, journaling, and crafts! I love science, STEAM is the absolute greatest. I also love reading; books were a very early first love! 

I am so excited to continue my teaching career here at Escondido! I adore every student in our building, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be a positive impact in their lives.
