Hello!  Welcome to Lion Country! 

     We are so excited that you have decided to join our school pride.  I would like you to know a little about me.  My family is from Texas. However, because my dad was in the military, I was born in Georgia.  My family and I moved back to Texas when I was four years old.  We lived in the 野花社区视频 school 野花社区视频 until my 10th grade year.  Then we moved into the Northeast school 野花社区视频 where I graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School. 

     After high school, I joined the military as an imagery analyst.  I served in the military for 8 years.  I attended college and received a B.A. in psychology and a M.A. in counseling.  One day while helping a friend with a kids' summer camp, I realized how much I enjoyed working with children and that is how my journey began in the field of teaching. 

     I have been teaching now for almost 10 years.  I have taught for 5 years as a substitute teacher and I am currently working in my fifth year here at Escondido. I have taught Kindergarten and Prekindergarten.  This is my third-year teaching 1st grade.  I am excited about this school year.  I hope that you are too.  I look forward to watching you learn and grow.  Have an amazing year.
