Mrs. Nevelyn Young-Williams

Welcome to the most outstanding 3rd classroom you will ever encounter!!!  This year we will research, discover, create and investigate the many adventures in all subjects.

My name is Nevelyn Young-Williams.  I have been working with kids for over 20 years.  I attended Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin on an Academic and Athletic Scholarship.  I played volleyball and basketball all four years.  I also received my Bachelor of Science degree in education EC-4.  I moved back home and began teaching at those various levels: Pre-K and Kinder for 1 year, 2nd grade for one year, 3rd grade for five years, 4th grade for 3 years, and 5th grade for one year.  I've also taught K-5th grade Science/Art. I have worked as a Reading and Math Interventionist for K-4 English and Dual Students for 8 years in SCUCISD.

I started in the 野花社区视频 in 2015.

I have subbed in the JISD 野花社区视频 for 2 years and was nominated Substitute of the Year at Paschall.

I was hired to work at Hartman in 2017-2018 as a 3rd grade teacher. Then, I worked with my students into 4th grade to teach Reading and SS.  In this school year 2018-2019, I was selected the 野花社区视频 ISD Spirit Teacher Award for Hartman Elementary. The school year of 2019-2020, I was moved back to 3rd grade to teach Science/SS, because of my passion for these subjects. The years 2020-2021, due to COVID 19, I taught as a self-contained teacher.  From 2021-2022, I taught Math and Science.  This past school year, 2022-2023, I moved back to Paschall to teach 3rd Grade Self-contained and will continue with this grade.

I have also been involved with these committees: Science/History Fair, Spelling Bee, Rodeo Art, D.A.R.E, CIS, Student Council, NHS, and Career Day.

Programs I've hosted at Hartman: Veterans Appreciation (2) and Black History (3)

Paschalls' committees: Veterans, Hispanic Awareness and Black History Month, UIL StoryTelling and Puzzles Club.
