Ms. McAhren is Park Village Blended Learning Academy's Dyslexia Designee.  I have worked in the 野花社区视频 now providing service to students in JISD for the past 10 years.  I started my career in Del Valle ISD (South Austin) in October of 2009.  I fell in love with an autistic student I was working with, so I continued teaching.  I have worked in PPCD or JISD calls it ECSE for two years.  I continued working in a behavioral unit for the next year.  Then I did inclusion for all Sped students in 3-5 for one year and a half, before being hired at JISD.  I started my career in RtI at 野花社区视频, but have since been a kindergarten classroom teacher, a third grade classroom teacher, a fourth grade classroom teacher and now an academic language therapist.  I hold a Bachelor's degree in Science with a minor in Business Administration.  I am currently working on a Masters in special education with an educational diagnostician emphasis.
