Albert Einstein did most of his thinking on a hillside.  His daydreaming episodes are where he came up with most of his top philosophies and inventions, but then he also enjoyed learning.  Learning is what was the catalyst for his hillside episodes.  He pondered and built upon his learning during his imagination times.    So, as Einstein states: "Imagination can take you anywhere you want to go." ~So, make it worth going.

A bit about myself:

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from UTSA.  My Master of Education in Early Childhood, Ec - 6, and my Masters of Science in Reading, Reading Specialist from Texas A&M San Antonio.  Prior to teaching elementary school, I was a military wife, traveled overseas, and within the U.S.A. to many wonderful experiences and jobs.  One overseas assignment allowed me to obtain work at an English as a Second Language Institute in Yomitan, Okinawa, in addition to teaching Introduction to the Arts, at Central Texas College at Camp Butler, Okinawa, Japan.  I had adult students from both the military and Japanese communities in attendance at my classes.  At the Higa San English Institute I taught several professional people who were seeking to attend college in either Canada or the U.S.A., therefore needing to pass the T.O.E.F.L. exam.  Also, while in Okinawa, I taught a group of teachers who wished to practice their conversational English.  Once I returned from Okinawa, I was asked to paint a few murals for Camelot Elementary School.

I have taught reading to grades K-5, SSI, Fourth grade, First grade, Kindergarten, and PreK.  It's always very enjoyable to see children excited and learning new things, exploring, and creating their own projects, writings, and connections to the new knowledge they have or are acquiring!

I enjoy glamping, art, crafts, reading, traveling, visiting friends and family, museums, pottery making, and more.  Family is my happy place, and I hope it is yours as well!  The Family is the backbone of any country, so making it a good one is what I love and appreciate.
