Welcome to My First Grade Class!
I am so eager to meet you and be your first grade teacher at Park Village Blended Learning Academy! We have so much to learn this year, as well as learn from each other. My mission for this year is for us, as a class, to be academically successful while collaborating as leaders, be able to celebrate even the smallest growths and successes, and become kind bulldogs to our community. Park Village Blended Learning Academy has become my second home, and I hope it becomes yours, too. I know we will have an amazing year!
FUN FACT: My elementary school from Kinder to 4th grade is the exact same spirit colors (Blue and Yellow) and exact same school mascot (Bulldog) as Park Village BLA! (Not the same name though).
I am from the small town of Alice, Texas and graduated from Alice High School in 2008. I was accepted and attended college at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi for my undergrad studies in education. I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science - Interdisciplinary Studies of Education with Reading Emphasis in 2013. I am certified as an Early Childhood - 6th Grade Generalist Teacher. I received the Spirit of 野花社区视频 Award in 2020. This 2022-2023 will be my 10th year as a teacher. I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade throughout my teaching career.
