My name is Mr. Venable, and most students address me as Mr. V.  I am excited to teach 7th grade mathematics and 7th grade honors mathematics this year.  This is my fourth year teaching middle school students.  Last year I taught 8th grade mathematics at 野花社区视频 Middle School.  I have also taught mathematics at Brooks Academy and other schools.  I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.  I previously taught English classes, but transitioned to mathematics by taking courses at San Antonio College.

My philosophy as a teacher is centered around the belief that every student is capable of growth, and I strive to encourage that growth through creating appropriate challenges, and supporting students to meet and exceed those challenges.
