Hello students and parents!  

My name is Mr. Holstein, but my students call me Mr. Moo (bonus points if you can figure out why)!  This year will be my 7th year teaching, and 5 of those years have been with 野花社区视频 ISD.  I previously taught Math & Science in grades 4-7, as well as ELAR & Social Studies in grade 5, but I'm excited about teaching at the middle school level again!  

My philosophy as a teacher is centered around mutual respect.  I am passionate about empowering students to see their full potential, and maximize their learning through creative & engaging lessons, opportunities for meaningful class discussions, and a classroom culture that helps students grow academically & ethically! 

My goal every year is to create life-long learners who begin to see the challenges they face as opportunities to grow rather than barriers between them and their success.
