Welcome to Life Skills
My name is Ms. Elizabeth Murray. I am the Life Skills instructor for your children for the new school year. I was born and raised in Illinois . I have one 18-year-old son, Aidan, who is the light of my life and a brand new grandbaby, little Miss Ezra Murray!! I couldn't ask for a more AMAZING family!!
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Education from Eastern Illinois University and my M.Ed. in Education from Wayland Baptist University. I am certified to teach EC- 4 grade and SPED K-12. After graduating, I began teaching in St. Louis, MO before finding my home here at Converse. I have been at Converse for 11 years. I feel extremely blessed to serve our students here at Converse and look forward to the growth we will make this year.
The Life Skills curriculum is built around developing the essential building blocks of a successful adult. As a classroom community, we will aim to unearth and identify key concepts in the social development process that will assist students as they navigate their way into their place in the world.
I want to always have open communication with parents and allow for any and all questions to be answered. If you need to speak to me about anything, please feel free to call me. My conference period is from 8:35-9:25. I am looking forward to working with the future leaders, movers and shakers of this community. Here is to a great school year and even greater memories.
