Hi! Welcome to 2nd grade!! My name is Deborah Barrera. I am very excited about this school year! I am positive that this will be a great year filled with lots of learning and fun! I look forward to teaching your child and working together with you to make this school year a success! 

This is my 6th  year at Crestview Elementary and my 31st  year as a teacher. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies  from the University of Texas in San Antonio in 1993. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. Teaching 2nd grade is my passion!!

I will do my absolute best to teach your child. I will have a structured classroom with high expectations. I look forward to meeting you and working with you to get your child ready for the next level.
