I am excited to start my 14th year as the PE teacher at Salinas Elementary. I have been teaching for 24 years and have been at Salinas since the opening of the school. This is my 21st year of teaching in JISD and my 17th year of teaching Physical Education. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from UTSA and am certified to teach K-12th grade. I have been married to my wife Julie, who is also a teacher, for 28 years. We have two daughters who are currently in college. Our oldest daughter is working on teacher certification and is a senior at Texas State. Our youngest daughter is a sophomore at UTSA studying Accounting. I am looking forward to a great 2019-2020 school year.
