I started my journey in education in 2001. I had the privilege of working with children with disabilities as a paraprofessional. During that time, I decided to pursue a degree in education and graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word. I started my teaching career in 2010. My first two years were spent teaching second and third grade. Since then, I have been working as a Special Education Teacher, which is where my heart is.
