Welcome to second grade!

My name is Mrs. Yvette Fiorentino, and I am excited to be your child’s second grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas San Antonio. I am certified to teach in Early Childhood – 6^th Grade. This is my third year at Candlewood Elementary and my eleventh year as a teacher. I have two daughters in Elementary School. In my free time, you will find me visiting new places and spending time with my family. 

My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the growth my students achieve from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. I look forward to collaborating with families and students to have a year full of fun learning and growing!
