I am a military veteran who has served my country for over 20 years. I decided to continue to serve my country by becoming a teacher. This is my fourth year at Candlewood Elementary and my eighth year as a teacher. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Louisiana Lafayette in 1992. I continued my education by getting my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education in 2004. I was honorably discharged from active duty and began teaching in 2013.
Parents, please know that I will do my best to teach your child. I will have a structured classroom with high expectations. I look forward to getting to know and working with each of you to get your child ready for his/her next level.
