Hi! My name is Mrs. Ortiz, I am very excited to join the kindergarten team one more year at Coronado Village Elementary.

I am thrilled to be a Kindergarten Dual Language teacher and I am looking forward with my students to a year full of learning and adventures. 

I can't wait to learn all about my new students this year, but first let me tell you a little about me...

I was born and raised in Monterrey Nuevo León México and I graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo León with a Bachelor Degree in Science.

I moved to San Antonio with my husband  and we have two daughters and a son. I worked at a Charter School as a bilingual teacher and Bilingual /ESL coordinator for four years.

My certification is Bilingual Generalist EC-4.

 I started working as a dual language teacher in 野花社区视频 ISD at Coronado Village Elementary since 2013. This will be my 11th. year teaching the "TOROS" at Coronado.

I couldn't be happier! I love the school community, my kindergarten team and teaching.

I am happy to be your son's / daughter's teacher ... This will be an awesome learning year !
