After traveling the globe, I returned to San Antonio to pursue my passion of teaching music. I began teaching music in Texas public schools in Northside ISD at Sul Ross Middle School, followed by opening Tejeda Middle School in North East ISD. After exploring teaching Vocal Music at the high school level, I returned to North East ISD to teach elementary music. In 2016, I flew closer to home and became a Hopkins Hawk. My mother taught Elementary Music in JISD for 26 years, opening Live Oak Elementary School. My 12 years of public school were in the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City School District. However, I spent many hours at Live Oak Elementary School helping my mother.
