After graduating from UTSA with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a specialization in Athletic Medicine, I worked outside of education for several years. From volunteering as a youth basketball coach, I realized I had a passion for helping young people achieve success. Once I earned my teaching certification in Social Studies, I began my teaching career at Veteran's Memorial High School. I've taught Mexican American Studies, Sociology, World Geography, US History, World History, and Personal Finance Literacy. As of 2023, I have transferred to JCARE to be the Credit Recovery teacher on campus.
