I was born November 21, 1966 in Camden, New Jersey. I attended Camden High School and graduated June 1986. After completion of Camden High School, I entered the United States Army in April 1988. I attended Basic Training at Fort Dix, New Jersey and Advance Individual Training at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. I’m married to Sioban Abdul-Majeed, and I have four lovely children: Indigo, Turquoise, Topaz, and Magenta. After 20 years of honorable service to our great nation, we have made Converse, Texas our home.

My civilian education include: BSOE in Human Services with specialization in Criminal Justice from Wayland Baptist University. I've completed the Teacher's Master’s degree program in elementary education here in San Antonio, Texas. I selected becoming an elementary teacher simply because I understand the various classroom instructional approaches to teaching effectively, literacy development in its early stages and how to apply different teaching techniques having high rates of success as a result.

I currently work with school age children as a drill instructor for grades 6-12, having multiple senior teachers as mentors. As a my greatest assets are using learning strategies for the classroom and how to effectively apply those strategies, understanding Texas Education Knowledge and Skills, state requirements and using lesson plans to meet 野花社区视频 and state objectives.

My military education include: Warrior Leader Course, Defense Packing of Hazardous Transportation, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course (BNCOC), EO Leaders, Basic Instructor Training, Total Army Instructor Training, Advance NCO Course (ANCOC), Decision Risk Analysis, and Technical Transportation of Hazard Materials.
