Hello!  My name is Katherine Buss.  I am so excited about starting my 18th year here at Miller's Point.  I've had the pleasure of teaching second, third, and fourth grade and I'm currently a response to intervention teacher for reading and math.  I graduated from Texas State University with a bachelor of science with a major in interdisciplinary studies. I am currently working on my master's in educational leadership. 

I have been married to my amazing husband for 13 years.  We have one beautiful daughter who is in the sixth grade.  We have two labrador retrievers and some fish.  When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family reading, swimming, traveling, and going to the movies.

I love working at Miller's Point because we truly have the best staff, students, and families.  I look forward to an exciting school year with lots of learning! Please reach out with any questions or concerns. My conference time is from 2:15-3:00.
