General Program Information

  • Pathways to Technology Early Collee High School is a bridge between high school, college, and industry career

    • High School - Students meet all high school requirements for graduation, with support and guidance as they plan their program of study.  Mentoring and internship opportunities prepare them for competitive careers.
    • College - Students have the opportunity to earn college credit towards an A.A, A.A.S, and/or a Level 1 Certificate of Completion from Alamo Colleges – at no cost.  **Students will be required to meet TSI requirements for some courses.**
    • Career - Students participate in real work experiences in which they learn teamwork and develop skills needed for professional and personal success.

    P-TECH:

    • Is a 4-year program that requires a long-term commitment from the student and parent/guardian
    • Provides a no-cost opportunity to earn college credit
    • Is rigorous and requires active participation in the classroom and dedication outside of school
    • Requires the student to work cooperatively with teachers and students on projects
    • Expects students to meet attendance, behavior, and credit requirements and demonstrate maturity and self-discipline
