The Veterans Memorial High School Boys Basketball team's historic championship run came to a heartbreaking end at the Alamodome after falling to Kimball High School, 47-50. “Tonight we witnessed one of the best games in Texas high school basketball. Veterans Memorial was able to keep Kimball, the number one ranked team in Texas and 26th in the nation, within one for most of the game,” the school’s media team said in a Tweet. “The Patriots played great and showed why they are one of the best team in Texas.”
The entire is proud of the work they did this year. We are excited to see the journey the seniors will embark on and even more excited to see returning athletes push for another championship run.
