JISD Spotlights would like to introduce the first JISD therapy dog. She is a miniature golden doddle named is Joy, but everyone at Wagner HS calls her JoJo! and her first day was July 26. JoJo started at JISD the last week of July and we cant wait to see how she she'll be helping our students and staff this school year!
One of Wagner's counselor, Tiffany Gutierrez, brought the idea of a therapy dog to previous WHS principal, Dr. Toppen, before she left last school year. Dr. Toppen did her very best to make this happen for her students and sure enough Wagner was approved to get one very special team member! Welcome home JoJo!
