Welcome to a new and exciting school year! I'm so ecstatic to meet and work with your child! This year will be filled with many exciting experiences where we will challenge our minds and develop independence in our school, community and beyond!
This year will be my 9th year of teaching Life Skills at Rolling Meadows Elementary. My first experience in Education was working as a paraprofessional for 12 years at Oak Meadows Elementary, NEISD. During this time, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Special Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I continued my education and earned a Certificate for Generalist EC-6. During my time in teaching I have made many connections with my students and their families that will last a lifetime!
I will work hard to give the best to every single child in my classroom to make each day exciting, rigorous and meaningful. Your child will understand the expectations of the school and community to help them become a successful member of society. My classroom is highly structured and routine-oriented. I believe the success of any student is rooted with a strong foundation between the school and family. I strive to collaborate with my students, families, and myself.
